August 2013

On Tuesday, August 13th, the 1960 Northwest Falcons held a gathering at Hector's Restaurant in Kirkland, WA for a luncheon. It was significant because all eight of the "west of the Cascade Mountains members" attended. George Luck flew his Bonanza down to Astoria, OR and picked up Ed and Suzanne Leonard and flew them back to Paine Field in Everett, WA where they were met by Chuck and Bill. The next day was Ed and Suzanne's 20th wedding anniversary, so the luncheon was a special celebration.

On Wednesday, April 10, 2013, The Northwest Falcons gathered at Stanley and Seafort's Restaurant overlooking beautiful Tacoma, WA for an enjoyable luncheon. Attending were: Nels Delisanti, George Luck, Jim O'Rourke, Vic Yoakum and Chuck Diver. Dennis O'keefe had a doctor's appointment and was unable to attend. After lunch, we toured the superb "America's Car Museum" near the Tacoma Dome. The museum is built around the automobile collection of Harold E. LeMay. On display were about 300 cars - about 30% were in running condition
