On a phone call to Les Querry, Bill revealed that his wife, Anne, passed away on 21 December.

Services were held on 10 January at the Omps Funeral Home in Winchester, VA. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetary at a future date.

"I hope this note finds you all well. My brother Chris and I wanted to share some sad news with you: our father, Michael [A.] Clarke, passed away on Tuesday. He had been battling a number of chronic conditions and then took a bad fall on 12/24 from which he couldn't recover. He died at 86 on January 14, which is 13 years, to the day, that our mom passed away. There's some beautiful symmetry there, I think.

"We are planning a ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery where he and our mom will be interred together. The timeline is 12+ months, but we will let you all know when we have a firm date if case anyone is able to attend.
