The Grass Is Alway Greener

I was in 23rd Squadron. In the spring of 1964 I noticed a pile of grass sod stacked down in the quad area to replace spots that had died.
That night, I rounded up all the 4th Classmen and had them remove the furniture from the AOC's office, go down and get enough sod to "carpet" the floor and bring it upstairs to the AOC's office.
Needless to say, when Captain Charles came in the next morning, he was a little surprised that he had this nicely carpeted office with all his furniture back in place. I don't think he ever figured out who was the instigator!
