Gone But Not Forgotten
First Lieutenant George H. Bruns III, United States Air Force Academy Class of 1964, was killed on 26 June 1967 in an automobile accident near Zanesville, OH.
George reported to the Academy from California. While at the Academy, he was a member of the 8th Cadet Squadron. His interests included wrestling and rodeo competition.
At the time of the accident, George was assigned to the Air Force Munitions Laboratory at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.
