Gone But Not Forgotten
The Air Force Academy Association of Graduates & Foundation have recently learned of the death of Mr. Bernard J. Cooney, CS-22, Class of 1964. Mr. Cooney passed away on Feb. 24, 2024, in Olney, Maryland.
Visitation will be held from 2 until 4 p.m. on March 3, 2024, at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville Maryland. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on March 4, 2024, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 2900 Olney Sandy Spring Rd., Olney, Maryland. Interment will immediately follow at All Souls Cemetery, 11401 Brink Rd., Germantown, Maryland.
His family has suggested memorial donations be made in lieu of flowers to St. Peter's Catholic Church or to the Little Sisters of the Assumption Family Health Service, Inc.
