Duff's History
Gone But Not Forgotten
First Lieutenant John M. Duffy, United States Air Force Academy Class of 1964, was killed on 14 October 1967 in an automobile accident near Sault St. Marie, MI. He was buried at Maryrest Cemetery in Bergen County, NJ.
Duff reported to the Academy from New Jersey. While at the Academy, he was a member of the 8th Cadet Squadron. He was a member of the German Club, Ski Club and Professional Studies Group.
Following graduation, Duff was assigned to Undergraduate Pilot Training. He was a rated pilot at the time of the accident.
He was survived by his parents, Stephen M. and Anita K Herold Duffy.
