![]() Jerry's HistoryGone But Not Forgotten![]() Classmate Phil Horton recalls, "At the end of our second class year, Jerry discovered the key to an unused janitorial supply room in our squadron area and added a fully stocked bar, a color TV & a bed from an unused room. He left his room fully made up and slept in the janitorial supply room our first class year. He also had several interesting meetings with the Commandant of Cadets." Following graduation, Jerry headed for Texas in his Corvette, where he attended undergraduate navigator training at James Connally AFB, TX. He then served with the 61st Troop Carrier Squadron at Sewart AFB, TN. In 1969, he separated from the Air Force and was hired as a safety engineer with the US Department of Labor in Long Beach, CA. Later, he attended law school and was an attorney at law for various firms in the Los Angeles area. From 1982 through 1992, he practiced with the Holmes & Holmes and the Gerald Lee Holmes law firms.
