Bob's (and Pat's) Air Force HistoryOne of the worst things that could happen to a doolie was to get caught by upperclassmen passing through a squadron other than his own. Before the pushups, it often went something like this: "Well, well, what do we have here? A squat from another squadron! What's your story Mr. ______?" Why don't you give us 20 for entering our squadron without permission!" So, when our class decided to publish our "stories" in recognition of our 50th reunion, I decided to tell my whole story. It also fills the square of the promise I made to our kids to write down my memories of our Air Force days. My story is in the PDF file that you can select below. Please note that it is very large and takes some time to download depending on your the speed of your internet connection. If you really want to read it, hang in there and wait for it to load.
