Raleigh Garcia and China

There are many stories I remember from USAFA – for example, Pat Wynne as head of Security Flight calling each squadron and asking all the cadets-in-charge whether they were wearing authorized underwear.
But the one I always tell to my friends is the story of Raleigh Garcia at dinner. He was in charge of collecting the dishes and happened to drop a spoon. The table commander said: “What do you do for an encore, Garcia?” Raleigh calmly put his hand beside the stack of plates and pushed them all off onto the floor. We sat at ease for a week.
