Gone But Not Forgotten
Frederick Henry Wagner IV
October 13, 1942 - April 2, 2015
Fred passed away after a brief battle with leukemia on April 2, 2015. Fred was born
October 13, 1942 in Michigan to Fred and Maria Wagner. Fred attended
Loyola High School; US Air Force Academy, then pilot training to fly B-52's
with over 200 Vietnam Missions. His military service of 20 years included
Titan Missile Commander and Computer Systems Engineer at SAC.
Fred attended Univ. of Northern Colorado receiving a MS in Business Admin.
After the Air Force, he worked for a law firm and City of Long Beach, retiring in 2012.
During retirement, he played music in various bands, and for the Church Ministry.
He was an active ham radio operator for over 60 years. Fred became involved with
ESGR presenting military awards. Fred was an avid swimmer, bike rider, sailor
in his spare time. He is survived by wife Michelle, children Robert, Nathan,
Wendy, Sharon, Karen, 3 grandchildren, mother Maria, 4 siblings, ands 10 nieces/nephews.
