![]() David's HistoryGone But Not Forgotten![]() As an Air Force Cadet, Captain Williams was a member of the Ski Club and was the Cadet-in-Charge of the Musical Group. He was a member of the 3rd Cadet Squadron. Upon graduation from navigation training at James Connally AFB, TX, Captain Williams was assigned to the 325th Bomb Squadron at Fairchild AFB, WA. In 1966 he resigned from the Air Force and entered the Marine Corps. He was then assigned to the VMA 533 at Cherry Point MCAS, NC and Chu Lai Marine Air Base, South Vietnam. Captain Williams received a Masters degree in Industrial Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1969 and was then reassigned to the staff at Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps, Washington, DC.
