Membership
AOG
Membership is completely optional,
but we do appreciate your support.
The AOG is a non-profit organization,
which receives no federal funding. Everything we
do for graduates, cadets, and parents is supported
through membership dues and donations.
Your basic cadet has already benefited from the
Pre-Launch Checklist mini-CD and possibly the Bed and
Breakfast Program. Your family will enjoy BCT
schedules and commentary on our website, the Parents
Handbook (should arrive in your mailbox shortly), and
updates from ZoomiEnews.
In addition to the above, AOG members also receive
access to our website photo galleries, our
award-winning quarterly Checkpoints magazine delivered
to your home, and a year-round 15% discount at the USAFA
Visitor's Center when you present your AOG Membership
Card.
Please keep
in mind that once you fax in the form, it will take at
least 5-7 business days for you to have access to
online member benefits.
Parent Membership:
If you are interested in joining as a parent with a
4-year membership, we are offering a 10% discount.
($180 vs. the normal $50/annual for 4 years)
If
you purchase the 4-year option and your cadet should
happen to depart the Academy, we will refund the
remaining years of your membership.
For example: Cadet departs Academy in Dec 2006. We
will refund $135.
Parent Members: If you are attending Inprocessing,
please pick up one free squadron pin per paid parent
membership at the AOG table on the first floor of
Doolittle Hall. If you will not be attending
Inprocessing, the pins will also be available at the AOG
Table at Arnold Hall on the Friday of Parents Weekend.
