Project 2010
The goal of Project 2010 is for the Class of 2010 to significantly "give back" immediately after graduation, as well as at the 10-year reunion. We want to have each member of our class contribute just $20.10 per month (less than 1% of 2LT Base Pay)!
Between now and the 10-year reunion, part of the funds will go to supporting the Academy from 2010 through 2020. The rest of the funds will collect in our gift fund, so when we return for our 10-year reunion, we have the potential to give back over $1 million dollars to the Academy!
While cadets, we prided ourselves on setting the bar higher than the classes that came before us. We want to do the same as graduates. We want to prove it by "giving back" more, and faster, than any class before us.
For comparison purposes, here are the participation rates amongst our Class of 2010 peers at West Point and Annapolis in their "First Gift" Progams:
