1030 MDT

Good Morning, it's gonna be nice comfortable day in beautiful Colorado Springs.  We got my computer up and running again (way to go Brian!)

I just posted the schedule for tomorrow.
Only interesting thing is the introduction of LRC #2.  As I described on Friday, the LRC is where the Basics do problem solving with a scenario and physical obstacles.

For example, a small area will have some platforms, pipes, etc. planted in different places.  On the ground, there may be a 55 gallon barrel, different lengths of rope., a paperclip.  The scenario might be: "You are in enemy territory.  There is a minefield in front of you.  You must carry your injured comrade across the security zone to the other side and freedom.  Enemy troops will be at your position in 15 minutes.  Go."

At this point, the group problem solves like McGyver, and tries to succeed at the task.  It is stressful, but a great learning tool.

Looks like it is time for a new computer.  Tomorrow will be a better day.
Good Night

Maybe not good night! We just found the a couple of the pictures from the march to Jacks Valley that I was supposed to add yesterday before my computer crashed, so here they are.
