0800 MDT
Another beautiful day in Colorado Springs!  I'm looking over the calendar, and it looks like if I get up there to the Lectinars, Terrazzo, and Cadet Store, I can catch a couple of squadrons.

By the way.  What is a Lectinar?

A Lectinar is one of the smaller lecture rooms located in the south end of Fairchild Fall on the Terrazzo level.  There are 10 of them, (L-1 through L-10) and if I recall correctly can seat about 60 - 70 students.  They provide instructors a larger venue than the standard classroom, yet not cavernous like the auditoriums (H-1; F-1; D-2; etc.)  Clear as mud?

I'm back.  Boy is it warm up there.  Note to self.  Don't take pictures on the Terrazzo in a shirt and tie.

If you all can standby for an hour, I think I have some good stuff to put up.  I think the happiest parents should be Squadron D since their cadets were the most visible.

When I first got up there about 0900, I ran into an Element conducting an Element Leader Lesson underneath Fairchild Hall.  This is a great place for this kind of training since it is very cool under there and gets a breeze.  From the schedule and
from one of the names when I zoom in, I think it is a Squadron D element.  Notice that during these lessons, the cadre put them "At Ease" so they can listen and look at them clearly.  He was talking about Personal Appearance Standards.

I then made it over to the Lectinars.  Squadrons B and C were letting out from the Core Values Training.  I caught some people in the hallway, but those hallways are very dark.  I've had to crank up the brightness on the photos to get them to show up.

Then I caught a couple of Hellcats at Cadet Issue replacing some issue items.

Next, there were some Barbarians up at Clothing Exchange.

A couple more Hellcats at Cadet Issue.

Yes, he is sleeping while standing up.  Amazing!

Another note to self.  Don't mess with this guy.

The storms are coming in.  Just saw a "big" lightning bolt.  Parents, when there is lightning in the area, they clear the cadets off the Terrazzo, so don't worry.

Here are some shots of a bunch of different flights.  Hard to tell them apart, but some of the names indicate Squadrons D and F.

It's teeming rain!
Here are Basics waiting for Core Values Training to begin in the Lectinars.  At that time, it was supposed to be Squadrons A and D.
